At least one person was shot after a gunman opened fire at a food-service container plant on Friday morning, authorities said.
Police are reportedly still looking for the shooter, who is still believed to be inside the Dart Container Corp facility in Conyers, Georgia, Rockdale County Sheriff’s Deputy Lee Thomas said.
Thomas did not specify if anyone was injured and an unnamed federal official told CNN that one person had been shot.
The incident occurred after gunfire was reported at the Dart Container Corp, a facility that employs approximately 300 people.
Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office said they received a ‘shots fired’ call just before 7 am.

Authorities arrived at the facility and found one man shot, according to WSB-TV.
Three schools near the facility, Rockdale County High School, Rockdale Magnet School and CJ Hicks Elementary have all been placed on lockdown.
Rockdale County Schools wrote on Twitter: ‘All of our students & staff are safe. No visitors are allowed on campus at this time.’
Dart Container Corp manufactures and distributes food products such as plates, cups, lids, straws and containers.
